Reconfigurable Multi-Beam Receiver Based on Microwave Photonics Technology

A novel multi-beam photonic receiver with a variable beam count has been proposed. The reconfigurable characteristic of the system is enabled splitters and optical switch arrays. According to number beams it due receive, splitter suitable ports chosen split by controlling in order configure path. After splitting, multi-wavelength carriers are sent wavelength division multiplexer combine complete multi-beamforming process. Two structures have designed realize function, while optimized structure proved using several benchmarks for comparison. operation step then given. first simulations validate that proposed architecture can dynamically receive reconfiguring state switch. second simulation influence on received pattern was performed under different amplitude phase inconsistency random values. results show will decline quality multi-beam. When within limits, difference path outputs must be balanced compensated during system’s fabrication deployment.
